Abstract
Historically, the story of atopic dermatitis (AD) was one of “The Burden of a Lifetime.” Patients endured a cumulative journey of physical, psychological, and socioeconomic challenges. However, advances in modern medicine and narrative reframing are rewriting this trajectory in several key ways. Modifying the narrative of atopic dermatitis (AD) is entirely rewriting its story, shifting the paradigm from a lifelong struggle with chronic, relapsing symptoms to a manageable condition that can achieve long-term, deep remission.
