The Conference of Health Care, East and West, Moving into the 21st Century

由中國醫學協會與哈佛大學醫學院、公共衛生學院、牙醫學院及麻省理工學院聯合主辦的21世紀東西方衛生保健展望會，在麻省理工學院盛大舉行，中國中華醫學會榮譽會長、人大常委會副委員長吳階平，以及該會時任主席兼中國衛生部部長張文康均親臨此間進行交流。
The Conference of Health Care, East and West, Moving into the 21st Century, was jointly sponsored by the Chinese Medical Association, Harvard University School of Medicine, Harvard University School of Public Health, Harvard University School of Dentistry, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It was held at MIT in June of 2001. Wu Jieping, Honorary President of the Chinese Medical Association and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, joined the Conference together with Zhang Wenkang, then Chairman of the Chinese Medical Association and PRC Minister of Health.
